The Seagull caliber 3600K is a mechanical, hand-wound watch movement made in China. It is available in both silver and gold tones, and a skeletonized version of the caliber ST3600. It's known as the best replacement for the swiss ETA 6497.
It is a manual-wind movement with 16.5”’ lignes, a diameter of 36.60mm, and a height of 4.50mm. It has 17
jewels and a beating rate of 21,600 vph. It features central hours, central minutes, and small seconds at the 9:00 position.
It has an Incabloc anti-shock system and can be hand-wound. It does not have a hacking seconds function.

To operate a watch with the Seagull caliber 3600K movement, follow these steps:

  • Wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise until it stops. This will power the movement and prepare it for use.
  • Set the date by pulling the crown out to the first notch and turning it until the desired date is displayed.
  • Set the time by pulling the crown out to the second notch and turning it until the desired time is displayed on the watch face.Push the crown back in to secure it in place.
  • Adjust the position of the hands, if necessary, by gently pressing on the corresponding hand and moving it to the desired time. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this could damage the movement.

The Seiko NH35A is a popular automatic movement used in many affordable and microbrand watches. It is hand-windable and features a hacking function, which allows the wearer to stop the seconds hand while setting the time. The movement is accurate within a range of -20 to +40 seconds per day and has a power reserve of 41 hours. It is equipped with the Seiko Magic Lever, which allows the movement to start almost immediately when the watch is shaken side to side. The NH35A has several reference variations depending on the location of production and the inclusion of additional complications such as a date function. It is produced in Japan and Malaysia. To wind the mainspring completly, the crown should be turned clockwise a minimum of 55 times, or the watch can be shaken using the Magic Lever. Normally 20 times for turning the crown is enough
to get power for the rest of the day.

The crown has three positions for setting the time, adjusting the date, and manually winding the movement:

  • To manually wind the movement, the crown should be turned clockwise while in the first position. Beware, if the watch is with a screwed crown. So you have to open it counterclockwise before manually winding.
  • The date can be set by pulling the crown out to the first position and turning it counterclockwise.
  • To set the time, the crown should be pulled out to the second position and turned clockwise or counterclockwise.
